Staff Safety MeetingDovetail Cultural Resource Group is a full service, woman-owned Cultural Resource Management firm headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a second office in Wilmington, Delaware. Dovetail was founded in 2005 by its principals, Kerri Barile and Mike Carmody, who have decades of experience working with cultural resources across the United States.

The company has grown from a firm of two employees to over 40 staff members, including cultural resource compliance specialists, archaeologists, architectural historians, historians, historic preservation planners, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) specialists, and administrative professionals. The company is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina.
