Dovetail provides a wide range of services to our utility clients across the Mid-Atlantic region. Nothing is more critical to the maintenance of our communities than high-quality utility amenities, including access to reliable water, sewer, power, and communication. These types of projects often require licenses from several Federal, state, local, and regional agencies, including FERC and the FCC. Dovetail has extensive experience providing cultural resource studies on a myriad of utility projects and complying with utility regulations. We know the applicable legislation; we have worked with localities, state agencies, and Federal regulators on dozens of utility projects; and we have successfully completed cultural resource compliance studies on hundreds of miles and thousands of acres of utility sites—including new facilities and reinstallation of older lines.
