Dovetail Cultural Resource Group is always accepting resumes of qualified individuals that are interested in working with us through our internship program. This program provides ample opportunities to learn about the professional world of cultural resource management and architectural and/or archaeological studies. These positions can be organized as formal paid internships with college credit or as stand-alone employment depending on your needs. Applicants must be located within commuting distance of a Dovetail office. Note that archaeological lab internships are only available in our Fredericksburg location.
A cover letter detailing the type of position you are interested in and the office location you would prefer is much appreciated. Work could include reconnaissance and intensive architectural surveys, archival and historical research, preparation of historic contexts, artifact curation and photography, limited archaeological fieldwork, and report production, as needed.
